LIFETIME OIL FILTERS

This outstanding line of Powerfilter Oil Filters consists of billet style precision machined products made of aircraft quality aluminum. The filter element itself is a finely woven 45 micron stainless steel mesh that is easily removed and can be washed clean and reused. That's why we call it a lifetime filter. However, we do offer inexpensive replacement elements in case your original one becomes damaged or otherwise in need of replacement. We also offer replacement o-ring kits as well. Additionally, extra fine elements are available for racing applications. Due to the extreme fine mesh used (10 microns) these filters should not be used on the street and when used in racing applications should be cleaned after each race event. These filters also feature a pipe plug in the bottom so that oil can be drained from the filter before removal. This eliminates the problem of having oil run down your arm when removing the filter housing. This page lists the most popular performance engine applications. Replacement Elements and O-Rings for Powerfilter

The Powerfilter Oil Filter comes with a filter element that is fully washable. However, for those who want to replace an element due to age, or those who just want a spare clean element on hand between oil changes, they are available. A racing element is also available which has an extra fine mesh. The racing element should be cleaned after every race, and is not recommended for street use. Also available are replacement O-ring kits. These kits replace all of the O-rings in your Powerfilter and will save you hours of frustration trying to locate O-rings in the event one becomes damaged during filter service. Note that the Import and Small filter both use the same element and O-ring kit.

Be sure to verify that the replacement element or O-ring kit you are ordering matches your filter size when ordering. There are three different O-ring kits available and three sizes each of the standard and racing replacement elements.
